​Thank you for choosing JRE as the platform to share your scholarly work. We welcome empirical research on a variety of topics related to education through different methodologies appropriate for the research. We value depth, rigor, and ethical conduct in the scholarly endeavor reflected in the research design and process and subsequently in the written outputs.

To Author: Before submitting your work, please make sure that you have followed the Author guidelines noted below. It is the responsibility of the Author to ensure the guidelines are met to avoid any delay and/or immediate return without review.

​

(A) The work has to be Author's original work. Any self/plagiarism will lead to an automatic rejection. And the Journal editorial board and the EERA Board will be notified regarding the incidence.

​

(B) Using AI generated materials in any part of the manuscript is NOT allowed. We understand this is a strict policy, nonetheless, we hold high standards and respect for research ethics, fairness, and authenticity concerning the whole scholarly and professional communities, including Author, Reviewer, and other stakeholders of the EERA and beyond. And the Journal editorial board and the EERA Board will be notified regarding the incidence.

(C) JRE does not accept manuscript submissions that are previously published, currently in-press, or under consideration for publication elsewhere.

​

(D) Specific requirements:

  • The length of the manuscript shall not exceed 7500 words, all inclusive. This means that Appendices can be considered as part of the manuscript only if, with their inclusion, the submitted manuscript is still within the maximum work limit.

  • JRE uses APA 7 format.

  • Author is required to submit two separate files: (a) a Cover Page containing the Title, the Author contact information, and the Abstract and Keywords. (b) a blind Main Text (aka, the manuscript) without any identifiable information of Author in a word file.

  • The Main Text should be: (1) double space; (2) Times New Roman, 12 pt font; (3) page numbered consecutively; (4) line numbered; and (5) in a layout with 1'' margins on all sides.

  • Abstract included in the Cover Page should be 120-150 words. Author can list 3 to 5 keywords.

  • With materials that Author does not own copyright and wish to use in their manuscript, Author MUST obtain written permission from the copyright holder (usually the publisher) and submit it along with their manuscript.
