Call for Proposals for EERA Annual Conference 2026 extended to November 7
Good news! EERA has received an enthusiastic response to this year’s call for proposals. This year's conference promises to be an engaging, informative, and collegial gathering of educators and researchers who are passionate about improving teaching, learning, and leadership.

Because we want to ensure that everyone who wishes to share their work has the opportunity to do so, we are pleased to announce a final extension for proposal submissions for the 2026 EERA Annual Conference, now due by Friday November 7.
If you’ve been considering submitting, now’s the time! Don’t miss this opportunity to present your work, connect with colleagues, and be part of the EERA community in Clearwater Beach, Florida this February 2026. Whether you’re sharing new research, innovative practice, or collaborative work, your contribution helps shape the conversations that move education forward.

About EERA
The Eastern Educational Research Association is an organization for educational professionals interested in conducting and disseminating research that improves education for all in both formal and non-formal settings. EERA was created in 1977 and for over 40 years has been one of this country’s successful educational research organizations. EERA is affiliated with the American Educational Research Association.
EERA members meet at an annual conference in February or early March. Members’ research is disseminated through 16 divisions and 22 Special Interest Groups (SIGs). The organization is administered through a Board of Directors elected by the membership. The organization awards an Outstanding Paper Award during the annual Conference along with several other awards, including Emerging Scholar and Service to the Association. EERA also sponsors the publication of the Journal of Research in Education.

Newsletter
The Eastern Researcher newsletter is published approximately three times yearly with a spring issue (post-conference), summer issue (call for proposals), and a winter issue (pre-conference). The newsletter announces the upcoming conference, program highlights, deadlines, officer elections, and reports on the annual conference meeting.
